Yes, you can change native IOTX (on the IoTeX network) to IOTX-e (on the Ethereum network). Let's clarify first:

    • IOTX (Native): The main coin on the IoTeX blockchain. This is what you stake, use for gas, and have in your IoPay wallet.

    • IOTX-e (ERC-20): A wrapped version of IOTX on the Ethereum blockchain. This is what you send to Ethereum-based exchanges like Coinbase, Kraken, etc.

    • cIOTX (Cross-chain IOTX): This is a special, intermediate token used only within the official IoTube bridge. You don't send cIOTX to an exchange. You convert your IOTX to cIOTX within the bridge, then bridge it to the other chain where it becomes either native IOTX or IOTX-e.

    Here is the step-by-step guide:

Step 1: Prepare Your Wallets and Addresses

    • Source Wallet: Your IoPay wallet (on Android) with native IOTX.

    • Destination Wallet: An Ethereum wallet where you want to receive the IOTX-e. This could be:

      • A MetaMask wallet (connected to the Ethereum network).

      • The Ethereum deposit address provided by the exchange (e.g., Coinbase, Kraken). ⚠️ Warning: Double and triple-check this address! Bridging to a wrong address is irreversible.

Step 2: Access the Official Bridge

The only official and recommended bridge is the IoTube V5 Bridge.
You can access it safely from the official IoTeX website (iotex.io) or go directly to: https://bridge.iotex.io/

Step 3: Perform the Cross-Chain Transfer

    1. Connect Your Wallets: On the bridge website, you will see two connection buttons.

      • Connect your IoPay Wallet as the "From" source (IoTeX network). You can usually do this by scanning a QR code with your IoPay app.

      • Connect your Ethereum Wallet (e.g., MetaMask) as the "To" destination. Or, if you are sending to an exchange, you will manually paste the exchange's Ethereum deposit address in the recipient field.

    2. Select Networks and Amount:

      • Set the "From" network to IoTeX.

      • Set the "To" network to Ethereum.

      • Enter the amount of IOTX you wish to bridge.

    3. Review and Confirm: The bridge interface will show you an overview of the transaction, including the estimated fees and the estimated amount of IOTX-e you will receive on the Ethereum side.

    4. Approve the Transaction: The bridge will guide you through a series of transactions that you need to approve in your IoPay wallet (and your MetaMask if you're using it as the destination). This will involve:

      • Approving the bridge to use your IOTX.

      • Actually executing the cross-chain transfer.

The bridge automatically locks your native IOTX on the IoTeX chain and mints an equivalent amount of IOTX-e on the Ethereum chain, sending it to your specified address. You don't need to manually handle cIOTX.

Step 4: Check Your Destination Wallet

After the bridge process is complete (it can take a few minutes), check your destination Ethereum wallet on a block explorer like Etherscan.io. You will see your balance as IOTX-e (ERC-20).

You can now send this IOTX-e to any exchange that supports IOTX on the Ethereum network.

Please note: Do not send native IOTX directly to an Ethereum address, as it will be lost.

I hope this helps to clarify and if you have further query please don’t hesitate.
