Severity: Low (UI/UX / Professionalism)
Description: News and community update cards on the IoTeX Hub landing page are displaying internal metadata tags. Specifically, a tag labeled #Import 2026-01-27 01:16 is appearing as a public-facing category tag on multiple articles (e.g., "IoTeX Community Update" and "IoTeX is Now Fully MiCA Compliant"). This looks like an automated system tag from a bulk content import that was not hidden before the site went live.
Steps to Reproduce:
Navigate to https://hub.iotex.io/
Scroll to the news/updates feed section.
Observe the tags located below the article description and above the article action buttons.
Expected Result: Only user-facing, relevant categories should be displayed (e.g., "News", "Governance", "Community"). Internal system logs or import timestamps should be suppressed in the production environment.
Actual Result: An internal tag #Import 2026-01-27 01:16 is visible on various cards, as indicated by the orange arrow in the screenshot.
Environment:
Platform: Mobile (Android)
Browser: Chrome Mobile
Device: Mobile Viewport
Date Observed: February 8, 2026
Suggested Fix:
Frontend Filter: Add a filter to the news card component to exclude any tags starting with #Import.
Database Cleanup: Remove or hide the "Import" metadata field from the public-facing API response for news articles.
CMS Update: Configure the content management system to treat import timestamps as internal-only fields rather than public taxonomies.
