Summary

The IoTeX Hub dashboard does not include a “Hide Balance” or “Privacy Mode” feature. Users’ wallet balances are fully visible on-screen, which can pose a privacy risk when using the platform in public or during screen sharing.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Visit https://hub.iotex.io.

2. Log in or connect a wallet.

3. Observe the displayed wallet balances.

4. Try to find an option to hide or blur balances — none exists.

Observed Result

• Balances are always visible.

• There is no toggle or icon to obscure wallet amounts.

Expected Result

• A “Hide Balance” or “Privacy Mode” toggle should be available on the dashboard.

• Balances should blur or replace with asterisks (****) when hidden.

• The hidden state should persist across sessions until manually toggled off.

Impact

• Potential privacy exposure during public use or recordings.

• Reduces user confidence in using IoTeX Hub in professional or shared environments.

Recommendation

• Add a “👁 Hide Balance” button (similar to major wallet apps).

• Implement client-side persistence (localStorage/session) for hidden state.

Include visual feedback (blur animation or placeholder text like “Hidden”).
