[Eco Bounty] Missing Option to Link Social Media Accounts in Profile Settings

Summary

The Profile Settings page currently allows users to edit their username, description, and profile photo, but there is no option to connect or display social media accounts such as Twitter (X), GitHub, Discord, or Telegram.

This limits user identity verification and reduces credibility for contributors, bug reporters, or ambassadors.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Navigate to: https://feedback.iotex.io/

2. Click your profile icon in the upper right corner.

3. Select Settings.

4. Observe the available fields — only Username, Description, Photo, and Password Reset are provided.

Observed Result

• No available field or button to link social profiles.

• Users cannot verify their identity through social connections.

• Contributors’ professional or community backgrounds cannot be validated.

Expected Result

• Add an option to link social accounts, e.g.:

  • Twitter / X

  • GitHub

  • Discord

  • Telegram

  • LinkedIn

Impact

• Lack of social linking reduces trust and authenticity of user posts.

• Makes it harder to verify bug reporters or ambassadors.

• Reduces potential for community networking.

Recommendation

✅ Add a “Linked Accounts” or “Connect Social Media” section in Profile Settings.
✅ Enable OAuth or direct link entry for supported platforms.
✅ Display verified social icons on each user’s public profile card.
