Summary

When clicking the "hamburger" menu icon in the top-left corner, the side menu opens, but the active AI chat window does not minimize or adjust its position. This causes the chat interface to remain fully visible and partially overlapping with the menu, rather than retracting to give the menu focus.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Open the QuickSilver AI assistant interface.

2. Initiate a query or ensure the chat window is active (e.g., "What's the weather like in London").

3. Tap the hamburger menu icon (three horizontal lines) in the top-left corner.

4. Observe how the side menu and the chat window interact.

Actual Results

The side menu opens, but the AI chat interface remains static and does not minimize. The "Research" and "Analyzing" status bars remain visible and may overlap with menu options, making navigation cluttered.

Expected Results

The AI chat window should minimize or shift to the right when the hamburger menu is activated, providing a clear, unobstructed view of the menu options.

Suggested Fix

Implement a state change where triggering the menu sidebar automatically collapses the chat assistant or applies an overlay dimming effect to the chat to prioritize menu navigation.
