the coins didn't arrive in the account

Good afternoon, can you help me? I sent 4,000 IOTX coins from the Binance exchange to my cold ledger x wallet. I indicated IOTX as the network, but the coins didn't arrive in my account.

Hello, thank you for reaching out to us. With regard to your concern, Binance's "IOTX network" option sends native IOTX coins, but Ledger Live displays the ERC-20 version of IOTX on Ethereum.

    What Happened:

    1. Binance sent native IOTX (on IoTeX blockchain) to your Ethereum address from Ledger

    2. Ledger Live shows the ERC-20 IOTX balance (on Ethereum)

    3. Your native IOTX coins are actually safe on the IoTeX blockchain, at the same Ethereum-style address

    Solution Steps:

Method 1: Use ioPay Wallet (Recommended)

    1. Download ioPay wallet (desktop or mobile)

    2. Import your Ledger to ioPay:

      • In ioPay, choose "Connect Hardware Wallet"

      • Select "Ledger"

      • Use the same derivation path as your Ledger Ethereum account

    3. Once connected, switch to "IoTeX" network in ioPay

    4. You should see your native IOTX coins there

    Method 2: Use IotexScan Explorer

    1. Go to iotexscan.io

    2. Enter your Ethereum address (the one you sent to from Binance)

    3. You'll see your native IOTX balance under the IoTeX network

    4. This confirms your coins are safe on the IoTeX blockchain

Method 3: Add IoTeX Network to MetaMask

    1. Connect your Ledger to MetaMask

    2. Add IoTeX network to MetaMask:

      • Network Name: IoTeX

      • RPC URL: https://babel-api.mainnet.iotex.io

      • Chain ID: 4689

      • Symbol: IOTX

      • Block Explorer: https://iotexscan.io

    3. Switch to IoTeX network in MetaMask

    4. You should see your IOTX balance

    Important Notes:

    • Your coins are NOT lost - they're on the IoTeX blockchain

    • The private key is the same for both Ethereum and IoTeX addresses (since IoTeX supports Ethereum-style addresses)

    • You'll need to use IoTeX-compatible wallets (ioPay, MetaMask with IoTeX network) to access/manage them

    • Ledger Live currently only shows ERC-20 IOTX, not native IOTX

    Future Transfers:

    • To send native IOTX back to Binance: Use ioPay or MetaMask (on IoTeX network)

    • If you want to see them in Ledger Live, you'd need to convert to ERC-20 IOTX (via ioTube bridge), but this isn't necessary

Try Method 1 first (ioPay + Ledger) - this is the official IoTeX wallet and will give you full access to your native IOTX coins with your Ledger's security.

I hope this helps to clarify and if you have further query please don't hesitate.
